Poem - My Lover, My Friend - Crystal Robin Rose
By: Crystal Robin Rose
Butterflies, goose bumps, even chills,
When I’m with you that’s how I feel.
Holding you tight oh so close,
Being a part of your life is what I love the most.
My eyes sparkle, my face glows,
How much you mean to me you’ll never know.
I love being a part of your world,
Everyday I feel like the luckiest girl.
Poem - Move in Closer
By: John E. Murray, III
Move in closer, don’t shy away,
For there is so much more we should say.
I shout your name into the stillness of night,
Yet hear merely echoes of a lone plight.
Read morePoem - Softly Settle
By: John E. Murray, III
Softly settle
On the surface of my heart,
Sweet Angel.
For it quivers,
Awaiting the quenching quietude
Only you bare.
Begin blending
With the intense beats
And bring about
The bounties of my soul.
Poem - Too Close
By: John E. Murray, III
Too close to reality do we sit,
When we dream of angels with an uncanny wit.
They are visions truly,
But when neglected, become most unruly.
Even nearer do we move
When they offer us emotions from which to choose.
This may not be what we need,
Nevertheless, for them, we will plead.
Lost in the life of another are we
When our fantasies merge with another’s reality.
Poem - Time Moves Faster
By: John E. Murray, III
Time moves faster
As the day draws nearer
And, we are carried along
Bouncing rapidly
To these days of brevity.
